Renner Rd.\nRichardson\, TX 75082\n \nRegistration includes lunch & materials. \nSpiritual Ministries Institute invites you to a Holy Week Silent Retreat at the beautiful Springhill Retreat Center tucked away in Richardson\, TX. Wooded grounds for nature walks (50 acres with spring-fed creek and three ponds)\, a chapel\, a labyrinth\, and the lodge will be available for your relaxation\, prayer\, and reflection. You are encouraged to bring a journal and other materials that help you express yourself in prayer. Coffee and bottled water will be available at arrival and simple lunch will be served at noon. We will close with a brief service of gratitude. If you need to leave before 3:30\, you are free to do so.

Zoom link and any handouts will be delivered digitally a few days before the event. \nCEUs available \nInternal Family Systems (IFS) is a contemplative\, soulful\, and non-pathologizing approach to personal healing and spiritual transformation. This workshop is designed specifically for spiritual companions—spiritual directors\, chaplains\, pastoral counselors\, and other soul-care workers—who want to explore how IFS can be a model and a process for compassion-based soul care that keeps care providers grounded in our own compassionate essence and invites those to whom we provide care into a deeper connection with the sacred and with their own spiritual essence. \nFrank Rogers Jr. is a spiritual director\, supervisor\, certified IFS practitioner\, retreat leader\, writer\, and professor of spiritual formation at the ecumenical and inter-faith Claremont School of Theology. He has taught and written in spirituality\, contemplative practice\, and compassionate social engagement for over 35 years. His most recent book is Cradled in the Arms of Compassion: A Spiritual Journey from Trauma to Recovery. Dr. Bob Gardenhire\, III. This workshop is for anyone who is suffering\, for professionals who tend to those who are suffering\, and for all who may one day experience a season of suffering. \nBased on the work of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin and others\, we will explore how these painful times can draw us nearer to God. The workshop will offer hands-on prayer and meditation tools with practical application for your life. \nRev. Dr. Bob Gardenhire\, III is the founder of HeartPaths spiritual directors training programs in both Oklahoma and DFW. An experienced spiritual director\, ordained Methodist minister\, and licensed therapist\, he holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from the Graduate Theological Foundation.
